One of my favourite pastimes is baking, especially cakes and cookies.
I have been enjoying cooking since I was a young girl and it has now become a regular hobby of mine. One of my favourite recipes, although simple, is for Fairy Cakes, which can be decorated in various ways to suit any occasion. Everyone always seems to enjoy them as they soon disappear! I often make them for friend's birthdays, Christmas and any other occasion I can think of! Here below is the recipe for my favourite fairy cakes. Ingredients:
Method: Preheat oven to gas mark 4 and line a cake tray with 12 paper cases. Sift the flour and baking powder into a large mixing bowl. Add the margerine, sugar and eggs and beat with an electric whisk. Divide the mixture evenly between the cases and nake for 15 minutes until golden. Cool on a wire rack then decorate with icing. |
Another regular pastime of mine is film and cinema.
I regularly visit the cinema with friends in order to see the latest relseased films. In terms of my favourite style of film it is difficult to say and my taste ranges, however one genre is British cinema, whilst I also enjoy romantic comedies. I have other favourite films, which include:

One of my main interests is fashion, which is also the degree which I study at university. My course is called Fashion and Textile Retailing, which I study at Manchester university and I am now currently in my third and final year.
I enjoy keeping up with the latest trends, by regularly reading magazines, visiting fashion exhibitions at museums such as the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, and browsing the shops, where I also enjoy shopping and buying some of the new clothes so that I can dress fashinably. I also like visiting a wide range of shops in order to stay ahead of the latest trends and keep up to date with the latest products for sale. My favourite place to shop is Oxford Street in London as there are so many shops to choose from! Some of the top places to visit are:
